Exclusive Ultimate Avengers 2 DVD Menus!
Source:Marvel, Lionsgate

Superhero Hype! has your exclusive first look at the DVD menus for Marvel and Lionsgate's Ultimate Avengers 2, hitting stores on August 8!

Picking up where the popular Ultimate Avengers: The Movie left off, the film will feature some of Marvel's most popular superheroes including Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and – for the first time ever in animated form – The Black Panther. Set in Wakanda, deep in the heart of Africa, the film features non-stop animated action that stays true to its comic book roots and boasts highly-entertaining bonus features including a gag reel, a featurette, DVD-ROM game, first looks at Iron Man and Dr. Strange and a trailer gallery.

To save humanity, the Earth's mightiest heroes must reunite for a rematch of heroic proportions. Mysterious Wakanda; lies in the darkest heart of Africa, unknown to most of the world. An isolated land hidden behind closed borders, fiercely protected by its young king - The Black Panther. A king who holds the fate of the entire earth in his hands. Because brutal alien invaders are coming, soon to fill every sky and control every land, seeking what is buried beneath ancient Wakanda. That leaves The Black Panther with a single option, one that goes against the sacred decrees of his people – to ask for help from outsiders. And so he turns to The Avengers. These mightiest of heroes have battled the aliens before, and barely survived. They thought it was over. They were wrong.

You can pre-order Ultimate Avengers 2 here! Be sure to visit the DVD's official website.

OK! Now that we can post, I want to correct this error. I sent several emails email at the time this was originally posted and no acknowledgment to my emails or any correction was ever made to this post.

So here we go again - above it says that "for the first time ever in animated form – The Black Panther". This is NOT correct. The Black Panther has in fact appeared in animated form before in the 1994 - 1996 Fantastic Four animated series, episode # 20 "Prey of the Black Panther", originally broadcast on 11/11/95, starring Keith David as the voice of T'Challa/Black Panther.

Maybe now you guys will correct your post hahaha

Otherwise, I LOVE superherohype.com!
