This movie is going to be just okay but I am not to excited for it. Eitherway, the cartoon will always rock.

If the aborted fetus that was 'Watchmen' hadn't already thoroughly ruined my life and caused everyone I know to doubt my advice (I told them it would be awesome...the comic changed my freakin' life), this 'Dragonball' movie would have been the first strike. Now, it's strike two. Let's hope the current bad news concerning 'Iron Man 2' (Scarlett BLOW-hansen and G*DDAMN WHIPLASH?!!) doesn't lead straight into strike 3...But seriously, 'Dragonball: Evolutions' is going to be awful. Who the **** is Tito?!

People are free to like what they want. If you like it great.
The majority of people don't like what they see. I was big into DB, but all I see here is a half assed attempt at taking a proven commodity and trying to milk it. At least they will make enough to recoup their costs, it doesn't look like they put much money into it.

Honestly,
DragonBall Evolution doesn't look like a master piece, but it doesn't look horrible either. I usually watch a movie in theatures once every 2 weeks. I saw Pink Panther 2 & I liked it, but I'm not going to buy it on DVD. I saw Watchmen too, I liked it, but I won't be buying it on DVD either.
DragonBall is just like those films or The Spirit for me. Just something fun to do some afternoon or night. It'll probably be a film I go see & am entertained by, but probably won't buy it on DVD. But I won't know till I see it.
Street Fighter looks like a go see & DVD buy though.

Well I've see the movie in Japan and its horrible I've already reviewed it on youtube and hyping it up is just to lure you to go there since the trailer sucked. don't be fooled.

none of what the say above is true its not a team of anything its just goku the rest dont really matter to the story bulma is just a dragon radar with guns yamcha doesnt fightt at all roshi is ridiculous piccolo is the worst vilain ever with no backstory or motivations or dialogue.dont want to give spoilers but the trailer is a good sumary of the film oh and the fighting sucks as well

The Black Ghost, you're an effing moron. The Watchmen movie was straight from the novel. The novel just had more conversation and a goofy ending. If you hate the movie its because you dont understand the book and you shouldnt be allowed to leave your watchmen comments on a dragonball thread.
Dragonball will be ok. They could have done better.

saw it this weekend (i live in japan). it was horrible. junior high school students would say it sucked. plot holes. OBVIOUS set up for a sequel. it was like....a big long toy commercial.

@ jt Hmmmm. Sounds like Transformers. Did they at least leave out unnecessary sex jokes and toilet humor unlike TF?

After what happened with Street Fighter's opening weekend (coming in at 8th place), maybe Dragonball should expect the same if not worse. Maybe they already are which is why theyre trying to hype it up this late. Poo folks, theyre fighting a loosing battle.

Dragonball: Evolution will probably be as bad or worse than Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li. I hope that Ridley Scott or Zack Snyder will direct and re-do Street Fighter's live action film projects and John Woo or Ang Lee can direct Dragonball in a whole new way fitting the cartoon series. Dragonball Z was the original title and Twentieth Century Fox screwed it up pretty bad. The film, will be epic like Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun-Li was but I am about average excited about this movie.
