I put a gun to my childhood's head and paint the walls with it's brains.

Is it just me, or does Frodo here look like a complete douche or what?

I dunno about this movie. I have mixed feelings about it, but I guess I can't pass full judgement on it until it comes out and I watch it. Tho I do have one question...

Where is Krillin???

Oh my goodness that was just aweful.
The fight scenes were so slow,chorograped and slow.
Oh my goodness.It reminded me of the Street fighter movie from the 1980's or one of the Ninja turle movies from the same decade.
WOW!!!We are going to get a cheap looking Martial arts flicks with cheap effects.
Barley any effects.Awful just aweful.YUCK!!!!!
Even the scene where he begins to move really fast fighting he looks slow.

I think it looks ok its based more on early DragonBall then DBZ so im not disapointed it was a corny cartoon. If you think this is bad watch DragonBall the Magic Begins worst movie ever however Moonwalk Magic scene...Priceless

Posted by: SUPER HRVOJE ZA DOM SPREMAN! on March 10, 2009 at 12:28:42

I predict:
- first box-office weekend response lower than 10 millions;
- DB:Evo slammed by critics;
- second candidate for the Razzie award in this year (after Shopaholic).

Ok, this crap have better promotion campaign than new Street Fighter so there is some box-office potentials. Fox will do anything for their typical PG-13 product.

i think most of the hater comments were posted when they had two short clips.

i can't see how its possible that anyone would be upset by these 6 new clips. they rule

Posted by: garou on March 10, 2009 at 12:33:23

yamcha sounds pretty cool in that clip thought that he would sound corny but what you know he does not

Posted by: John on March 10, 2009 at 12:38:31

WOWOWWWWOWOWOWOWOW you guys are freakin HATERS. As an avid DB,DBZ,DBGT fan this actually looks VERY promising. We knew from the start that this would not be a scene by scene mockup of any of the dragon balls. They did what they could in a movies time. There will be a sequel and if this does well then the sequel will be epic. Stop hating

I wonder if they are still making Goku be a Sayain who crashed on Earth. I dont know about you guys this is a sad day for all dragonball z fans.

i think it looks pretty cool!

I really liked the scene when Goku meets Roshi. Bulma is hot and Yamcha was good.

Posted by: Spidercide on March 10, 2009 at 12:43:28

yes he is a Saiyan in the movie... did you guys even watch the clips?

Oozaru

Posted by: Batmandrew on March 10, 2009 at 12:43:42

Well... at least it was a good yamcha impression haha

Posted by: Spidercide on March 10, 2009 at 12:46:23

doesn't look or feel like dragonball? lol

seriously, did you even watch the clips?

Posted by: Batmandrew on March 10, 2009 at 12:46:39

Hopefully at the end Goku and Chi-chi have Gohan, he's the best character in Z... IMO

For everyone saying their childhoods were ruined...uhm...I'm pretty sure you aren't children any more and this is not meant to be your childhood experience in any way. I bet you are the same people who lined up to see Star Wars and were like, "Well, that wasn't at all what it was like back when I was five." well, of course it won't be! You were a kid! If you look back, the show was pretty cheesie, and this is the same concept.

However, I am a little worried that there won't be much surprise after seeing all the clips that are surfacing.
