Best trailer so far but still looks like a sci-fi original movie

Still looks terrible. I'm glad I'm not a Dragon Ball fan. I feel bad for them :(

is this what hollywood has come to

Agreed, this movie sucks even if they change the title to excuse themselves for the sad attempt to adapt one of the most well-known mangas of all time.

predictable...
seems FOX ruined DB Fans childhood there...

Actually, not being a fan might be a good thing for seeing this movie. I would rather watch it as a popcorn flick with the kids than pick it apart as a fan. Maybe I will catch up with it after I see the movie.

@Dizzy
I'm a big DB fan and my childhood isn't ruined by a hollywood movie. I'm rather excited actually. I've never been a purist so I never let hollywood adaptions get to me. I just take them for what they are( a movie) and move on with my life.
That being said, I'll be there at the midnight showing

That's nothing, in latin-america Fox will not use the serie's voices, they're using other actor for dubbing the movie. So I think this will bury this movie more.

i loved DB when i was young. i know this movie wont live up to what the original was but ill still probably see it

Looks about as good as a Dragonball movie deserves to be. It looks okay for a show that didn't really need to be adapted to film.

the french voice actors sound better than the english ones

Terrible. Really disrespecting the fans with this one. Oh well at least the original cartoons are still here.

At least the oozaru was in it, or at least its eye was. That was kinda cool.

I love how some people want this to be the exact anime, but don't realize that this is more of a retelling of Dragon Ball. The last live action made of DB failed... So why not retool it for a new generation?

It just gets worse and worse doesn't it? When the hell did Goku EVER question himself and say "I'm not ready" in any Dragonball episode ever?! Stupid stupid stupid. Just based on that alone I'm not going to watch this piece of garbage.

A better class of criminal
On his way to Namek, when he was training in the plus gravity chamber. I'm not quoting him, but he said that he needed to get stronger and keep training. He didn't think I'm strong enough. In a round about way he said he wasn't ready. It is was drove him to continue on his way to become a SS.
