New Dragonball Promo Photos Surface

A hi-res version of a previously-released photo and three new promo photos have surfaced online for James Wong's Dragonball. The adaptation opens April 10 and stars Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Emmy Rossum, Eriko Tamura, Joon Park, Chow Yun-Fat, Texas Battle, Randall Duk Kim and Ernie Hudson.

I still can't believe this movie is being made. I'm sure it will be total crapfest... but since I'm a fan I will go watch it.

wow... I have no clue what to think of this movie so far from what I've seen. I'm pretty sure it's going to suck but I'll probably still end up seeing it.

Well the characters in most anime don't really look Asian. Justin Chatwin actually looks like Goku

I think this movie is gonna be like the first mortal kombat. Truly epic to the 11 year olds. and in ten years they'll say "did i really like this that much".

I loved the first mortal kombat when i was a kid. i still think the scorpian scene's are brutal, but someone else said that the piccolo scenes will probably be the only good part and i am inclinded to agree. I will still see it as a fan

i'll wait for the trailer. i dont get why they had to make up new characters ofr this movie. the original cartoon didn't have enough? i liked the cartoon but i seems like after this movie comes out i wont be able to say that out loud (or type) ever again.

I know this might sound cornny but if they can atemp to make dragon ball why not a live action movie of yu-gi-oh???

and why do the dragon ball look so damn small?? in the cartoon its bigger than that tiny thing.
cant wait to see how vageta looks like. if freeza in it Im sure he'll be CGI and cornny looking

Hey dinky, I was wondering when someone on this thread would whine about the size of the dragonball. Why even bother, is that really important? I would be more concerned if they left out pivotal things from the universe, not the size of the stupid ball.

Oh, and I wouldn't go to the theater expecting to see Vegeta or Frieza, they were both from "Dragonball Z" not "Dragonball". Two different eras, by then Piccolo is a good guy, although still badass. If we see anything, it could be a teaser at the end with Raditz or something, but I doubt that would happen. He's too young still and there is no Gohan yet. That part of the saga would be much later, like at least 10 years later.

and they could have just gotten the whole hairstyle a lot closer to the cartoon without it looking stupid imo

Personal opinion: I was never into this stuff, but I have a brother who was obsessed, so I have some knowledge on the situation...this movie looks like it's gonna bomb! I haven't seen one impressive thing yet!...Dude's gotta lose the hair!

Limmic stop trying to defend this movie you havent even seen it yet so you know just about as much as any fan does
everyone is intitled to their own say and i agree with them sofar it looks like cheezy crap
id rather wait a few more years till someone reboots this for the older audience and not for 10-5 year old children

I think it's just funny as ****, how you people think your so smart... and are quick to ***** about certain things. Goku isn't asian... pulling out charaters... blah blah blah... idiots. Goku was NEVER asian.. he was Saiyen... a frickin' alien. and if you pack too many characters in it.. you get movies like Street Fighter... and Spider-man 3... if you got something to complain about, fine... just get your facts straight and think before you post.

First off for all the people here saying that Goku does not look asian I would like to know where does it say he is asian, we know for sure that he is saiyan. With that being said these pictures so far are not that bad but I will ultimately wait for the trailer as for most of y'all to make my true decision
