More Dragonball Photos Scanned

DBtheMovie.com has posted more scans of Dragonball photos that have appeared in an international magazine. Opening April 10, 2009, the James Wong-directed adaptation stars Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Emmy Rossum, Eriko Tamura, Joon Park, Chow Yun-Fat, Texas Battle, Randall Duk Kim and Ernie Hudson.

uhhhh... TECHNICALLY Goku is based on Sun Wukong, the monkey king... so if you want to give him any kind of ethnicity, he's chinese

haha and sorry what the hell makes him look like any kind of race? I don't know any race where the eyes take up 2/3rds of the head

every time we make (or remake) somthing out of pre-existing japanese material we mess it up...
godzilla, the ring, the grudge, shutter, the eye, any other movies we have remade that i've forgotten about, and now dragon ball should have been left alone; they were fine in their original versions. if akira ever gets off the ground and it gets effed up too, things are going to get nasty.

Well, at least Bulma looks hot and Master Roshi looks like a pervert with that shirt and all, they both look awesome, but that picture with Goku holding the power pole looks REALLY akward, every other picture with Justin Chatwin I've liked so far, but that one picture looks a bit too cheezy, but whatever. Oh, and I agree completely with Tarran.

That's just what I'm saying! Saying he's Asian is dumb because Asian is not an ethnicity. He's either Chinese because of the folk myth(and in Anime, Chinese characters do tend to have signs towards them being chinese) or Japanese(original creators ethnicity). If you are gonna claim he "Should" be something, then he can't be Korean, Laosian, Thai or any thing other than Chinese or Japanese. Now, if you watch movies for entertainment, though...

well i find it to be stupid to blast this film in advance. i thought people woulda learned their lessons by now after having blasted transformers before it came out and it turned out to be one hell of a kick ass movie. my opinion on it: WAIT N SEE

The real question that I want answered is, where are they going to get the projectors that use crap instead of film. I refuse to see this in the theater because I would be affraid of catching a fecal born disease.

No one will read this and I won't bother to check on it later. But someone stated the Japanese were honored to have Hollywood make their creation into an American version.
They said the same thing about Godzilla. And Godzilla was crap. Both sides knew that, but the Japanese still appreciated the American effort.
Which in all makes it hurt even more.

Some cartoons and comics, no matter how large in popularity, are really famous for being 'something different' and will not translate into a real world movie.

I want to see an Asian play Superman in the next movie. I mean he's an alien with black hair, looks pretty Asian to me. I'm sure the creator intended him to be Asian just like how the creator of Goku wanted him to be white *roll eyes*

Honestly I don't care if the characters are America or Asian as long as they can act and stay trueful to the characters and the story. The images do look bad. I mean I LOVE DBZ and I know this movie will be lame. Its completely Wrong. This should be like an anthology of movie like Harry Potter.

Frieza Saga
Cell Saga
Buu Saga

Obisously there could be more if they did anything with Pilaf or the Red Ribbon Army of any of the Tournament sagas

maybe it's just me but i am SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS MOVIE!!

so far we saw only pics of poses. no still from the movie. no teaser, no trailer, nothing.

this will kick ass.
i have been a fan of dragonball/z/gt for about 17 years.

before any of u guys knew how to even write anime.

it deserves a movie and hopefully it will be done right.

if not, at least igot to see something on the big screen.

I think "can'tgetright " is corrrect the majority of posters on almost all films listed here & commingsoon.net say nothing but negative stuff before the films released. I think its because we are getting overloaded with Comic movies, with simialr story lines that are repetitive. It's just a matter of time before they will run these into the ground. DB has a fresh & fluid story with plenty of material to work from thus giving it great potential.

This movie will suck. The pictures suck. The story sounds like it sucks. The casting for Goku sucks. This is a dead movie. 20th Century Fox justs wants to cash in on this garbage so they can finally let it go. and don't get me wrong, I love the anime, but this will suck.

really hate to see that they can't find better people to play the parts. justin chatwin looks horrible as goku. it's like wimpy, emo/goth goku that doesn't want to break a nail. prolly a cross-dressing goku.

To anyone that thinks we're being too negative, ask yourself this: If the movie was shaping up to be such a grandiose piece of film, why hasn't the studio released high quality press worthy pictures instead of us having to scrutinize over some scans? Even the studio wants to hide this from the masses. Remember the first Fantastic Four with the hand on a stick? Yeah? Someone compared this to Mario but really, it's more like that ill-fated FF movie. I'm sure you DB fanboys will be in line with your girlfriends (moms) for multiple showings of this schlock to guarantee a sequel so you can see the actual fight because we all know the last 45 min of this movie is going to be Goku powering up for that sequel.
