DBtheMovie.com has posted more scans of Dragonball photos that have appeared in an international magazine. Opening April 10, 2009, the James Wong-directed adaptation stars Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Emmy Rossum, Eriko Tamura, Joon Park, Chow Yun-Fat, Texas Battle, Randall Duk Kim and Ernie Hudson.

Haha,The Guy Who Got First didnt get first! That's stupid anyways, the whole " first" thing. Anyway, Dragonball looks terrible, biggest mistake Hollywood could've done.

This look like a disappointment already. They need to put some trailers up cause these photos suck ass. Please stop production before you ruin the dbz franchise.

I think FOX is going for the record of making the worst adaptation. It's the only explanation why they can't get ANYTHING right. Completely blue gi looks horrible. Poll isn't red. Leather wrist bands? Did these people even do any research? Fox should really retitle it to something like America Kung Fu: The First Blow

two words come to mind... Double Dragon, if u know what I mean then you know what I mean.

That being said, I will most likely see this movie regardless of how bad it looks.... probably on the old 26 inch and not the big screen.

LMAO..I always laugh at the ignorant fans who have no clue as to what the manga author was doing when he drew this art. Most people assume the characters are all asian since the artsit is japanese but thats not the case with Dragonball. Both Vegeta and Goku are aliens and he made the saiyan race look different on purpose so to say they aren't asian is pretty ignorant. Just let it go and keep an open mind.

Does anyone here know that the character Goku is based on the Monkey King from the old Chinese novel series Journey to the West? The original character was a humanoid monkey who learned the 72 transformations from some ancient master, gained a magical staff, went up to the realm of the gods, and trashed the place... until they locked him up under a mountain. Thousands of years later, a Chinese buddhist monk on his pilgrimage to India to retrieve some sacred scrolls freed him, so that the Monkey King can become his disciple. So they and two other disciples picked up along the way slowly journeyed to the "West", while having many adventures, mostly fighting demons.

I think everything about this movie has been a display of steaming crapfest

Every photo they have shown has just gotten fanboys feeling more and more negative about this. They should just stop showing photos and just stop the production right now until they can get it right

Oh, and for all the people saying Goku's an alien and it doesn't matter what the ethnicity of the actor is... so I guess aliens are white by default, huh? If you have read the original Dragonball manga, you'll see that Goku is clearly of Asian appearance. He appears Asian and remains Asian until he becomes a super saiyan, where he Caucasianizes himself. So... they really should've cast an Asian actor for this movie, and for the DBZ movie, they should cast a white actor for the super saiyan parts.

For the people who are pissed that no Asian actor was cast for this role... look on the bright side, at least no Asian actor's career will be destroyed by this ****storm of a movie.

a lot of the people on here are not fans of dbz and they all say this is gonna suck. but a die hard fan from the day it came out this movie looks terrible. but im still gonna watch and still gonna hope they will prove me wrong. i thot speed racer was gonna suck but i loved it

Ok i have had enough of ppl who try to rally Tru Fans of DB into thinking this movie will be great how can they think that (from the pics) it does look like crap. you can't fool tru fans they no what DB is from A to Z and from what ive seen they changed a lot of it.

second someone said that you can never please the fans thats bull just try to stay true to the comic how much does a Bald cap cost? why is yamcha so old? couldnt they make a wig for goku or give him gohans hair? i just hope piccolo is green.

third i can't believe u think that the DB characters arent asian theyre all Japanese except for the animal characters but im sure they are legally japanese too the food the jokes, the names, the clothes and yes there are blue haired girls in Japan just go there youll see they have the people with weirdest hairstyles and colors im sure goku got his training from his white granpa chuck norris in the PAEKTU-SAN Mountain that is of course in belgium lol anyway just read the comics again and tell me that the caracters aret all japanese.

ok i agree the saiyans arent asians but Nappa look japanese to me and so does vegita. and if u remember chichi,videl and pan, if youve seen it look a lot like that one saiyan female in the episode on gokus real father and they are clearly asians. so what i think is that like supermans planet was all white ppl the planet vegita is filled with asian looking aliens.

nationality is important remembber the kingpin how ppl were *****in about him not being black? they were wrong to do it since it relly didnt matter that much it didnt change the core story (which sucked anyway) but thats what happens when you f**** up a story that has so many fans you make the movie for them since theyre the only one who are interested in your movie and where they will bring theyre girlfriend friend and family that dont give a rats ass about DB but will care if its any good for example transformers.

Finaly if you are tru fans judjing by what weve seen you should be worried. if youre not then you either dont care about the movie, are naive beyond comprehension, your not chatwin fanboys since i know there is no such thing, or you werent a true fan and you whatced the cartoon from time to time and claim that your an expert on DB anyway i hope im wrong but i doubt it.

So Im noticing something, you guys who are calling him a wimpy looking character. LOL. I dont ever recall Goku looking huge in DB, he was tiny TINY. Goku didnt start getting big until Z. Pay attention spite what you guys may think there trying to make an attempt to a fan based series. Again TRYING... also the last thing I recall on the series is that GOKU never looked AISAN if thats what you want. Everyone expects to much. Everyone was pissed on how the Transformers would looked for the movie but look at all you people who spent tons of money goin to the movies to watch it. It was something you didnt expect. oh i want to correct something about what i said they arent all japanese but they are all asians
Chinese hindu japanese russian (yeah russian in the red ribbon story arc the villagers were russian inspired the hats and coats are a dead giveaway) and if you look closely even the king of the world in the first piccolo saga is a dog what kind of dog u ask me? a shiba inu japanese dog just look at him if you dont believe me.

wow people know nothing about anime!

even though the characters look white they are in fact japanese except if the story takes place somewhere else than japan (and even then sometimes they are ) Sailormoon clearly doesnt look japanese blue eyes blond hair big brests but she has a japanese name a japanese family lives in tokyo hmm whats the verdict? they just make the caracters look different because its every japanese girls fantasy to look like white girls have big breasts different eye color long nice legs so they make the girls in anime like tha**** a little like they do in hollyood movies all the college girls are hot except for a few rejects, all the women in the street are hot al the guys on the beach are greek gods when in fact the majority of americans are fat so dont say anime characters arent asian they almost always at with chposticks even at school at lunch time . the cook ware plates cups are asian they all take of their shoes when they enter a house and put on slippers, little kids wear sailor uniforms, they go to hot springs to relax ,temples to pray. come on if it looks and sounds like a duck... they just fantasize they had white features like breasts hair nose eyes but dont believe for a second that the anime are white they are japanese through and through if the simpsons or was created by asian but kept the same tone and humor just not the obvious american locations would you have any doubt that they were based on america even if the caracters are yellow?
