More Dragonball Photos Scanned

DBtheMovie.com has posted more scans of Dragonball photos that have appeared in an international magazine. Opening April 10, 2009, the James Wong-directed adaptation stars Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Emmy Rossum, Eriko Tamura, Joon Park, Chow Yun-Fat, Texas Battle, Randall Duk Kim and Ernie Hudson.

second....looks pretty dumb...I mean they changed a japanese animae cartoon's main character American...how much dumber can it get...plus he just doesn't look like a goku...he looks like a wimp. But I'll probably still see it anyway

Goku isn't japanese. He's an alien. And he certainly doesn't look asian in the cartoons... definitely looks like a white fella tho.

you can say that none of the animae characters look asian because they have the same look to them...but they are supposed to be. why would a japanese cartoon want to make their main character white? You see it just doesn't make sense...but that's hollywood

i admit it looks cheesy, like mortal kombat and street fighter movie cheesy but i will definitely go see this. once it's moving and theres effects with music it will be cool. i hate the cartoons but this movie is a must see

haha... I love how all of the fans on the boards with the pics are loving everything about this and everybody here hates it.
I originally doubted the casting of Goku... but i'm starting to come around. Hopefully for the sequel chatwin bulks up more to play a more adult looking Goku.

Take another look at some anime. The asian characters definitely look asian. Based on the eyes and skin tone, I'd say goku is def. intended to be white by the animators.
Who knows why they want to do it? To make it appeal to the much larger american market maybe?

Just because the show is a Japanese cartoon, an anime, DOESN'T MEAN ALL THE CHARACTERS ARE ASIAN. The complete ignorance/stupidity of this way of thinking just baffles the **** out of me.
Goku is an ALIEN, a freaking Saiyajin. He's NOT Japanese. And even in the show, Goku is goofy and not exactly the brightest crayon in the box. Justin Chatwin has that kind of look to him, which I like.
And this is from the first regular DRAGONBALL show. Not Dragonball Z. Not any of the in-betweener movies. Goku is young in Dragonball and NOT buffed out like he is in Z and beyond.
GOD, how I'm sick of seeing some moron ***** about Goku not being played by an Asian actor on EVERY SINGLE DB ARTICLE.
Ahem. That said, I'm actually looking forward to this movie. It could turn out to be pretty awesome, or it could be completely ridiculous that I'll laugh my ass off but still get to see the gorgeous and talented Emmy Rossum. So it's a win-win situation for me.

SWEET! i saw the other picture of justin wearing the orange jumpsuit, now it's blue. good thing that they followed the anime' costume which is blue when goku was a small child and eventually orange when he was trained by master roshi.
now i want to see james as lord piccolo.

I hope they recast goku all together for a possible sequel and hope they revamp the movie franchise already (like hulk, batman and possibly superman). Or depending on how this movie's story goes set it up years later with a different cast (and writer/ director for that matter) set in the "Z" era. BTW, kudos to you andbeing one of the few people that get the fact that Saiyans are aliens, not japs and there for can be played by any race.

Some of you guys are so immature. Anyways, the photos are great. The GI is fantastic, and totally faithful. I was afraid Roshi's perverse personality would not be included, and am relieved that's not the case. Good times. How about some of you actually look at the photos instead of following what other people say. You see the title dragonball automatically **** comes up regardless of whats shown. Grow up. transformers you people get on your knees.

Honestly, I don't see a DBZ Movie here. I just see a guy that has the same Name as Goku does, and some other Charakters that do the same. This is no DBZ Movie. This Movie just shares the Names, but not more. That's why I'm for sure not going to see this Movie in Cinemas, but I'm going to wait for the BD.
