UGH... sooo lame...
Certain things should be left as is and NEVER translated into movies.
Why don't they make a Ranma 1/2 film next? I'm SURE audiences are ready for it!

Wow, this is going to be like Dragon Wars... or something like that... Shaolin Soccer 2?
It aint gonna be pretty, it's that kind of movie we're all gonna laugh about in 5 years... just like those Street FIghter / Mortal Kombat movies...

I agree with PittFilmGy, this movie is going to suck.
I disagree with Kill All Firsters, because he is the real moron for making a post that doesn't really apply to the article. If you're going to make a post, at least talk about the article.
What about a Naruto movie? That might actually be good----as long as they kept out "Believe it" from the english translation and left in "Dattebayo!"

First no Namek Antennas and now No Purple or even Blue hair on Bulma? The only good news I've heard about this movie is that it was going to be made, guess that isn't too great anymore.

Okay.
This movie is aimed at the same knuckle-dragging imbeciles who post "first!" You deserve each other.

Honestly, I think the movie has a fair shot at working out great. I'm really looking forward to it, I've enjoyed the anime for many years, presently enjoying the seasons as they come out on DVD of DBZ and I'm looking forward to seeing how the movie turns out.
The more I see these two, the more I respect the choices of casting them. Chow Yun Fat was a great choice as Roshi and Marsters, well, Marsters is a great actor who doesn't get enough credit. So what if it isn't exactly like the anime? I'm glad, glad there is no Puar and Oolong, glad there is no Krillin to be honest, and hopefully when they make the sequels, Tien doesn't have to tolerate Chiaoutsu. They've done nothing but take the ridiculous elements out of the visuals to focus more on the great story that is the DB-Universe...
The movie deserves a chance, even if the story does suck, which hopefully it doesn't, it should be fun to watch...

I have and will forever be one of the biggest DBZ fans of all time. But they are going to ruin this franchise by releasing this garbage. God why! Why take an amazing Anime w/ some of the coolest concepts and turn it into a sunday morning joke!!! May this movie RIP...

This movie is going to suck big dragonballs and I mean it. the DB fans will be dissapointed including me. from the looks of the movie they are not sticking w/ the original stories. I'm sooooooooo pissed!! Too bad.

Emmy Rossum is hot. This movie is starting to grow on me a little bit but I totally think I could've played Goku better than Chatwin.

this film has success written all over it. It looks visually creative, cinematically stimulating, and very vivid like speed....oh who am I kidding...I was laughing when I qrote this. If it makes even close to a million i'll let somebody taser me!

Well here's the thig, since i've been tracking this thing like a hawk hoping for a glimpse of what i thought was going to be the greatest movie ever... The storyline is exact of the anime. It is the Dragonball story though not the DBZ story. However they are changing the style of it and making it more real life. They filmed the entire thing in three months in one location. Seriously, 3 months in Mexico, in the desert. With rocks and dirt. The costume design is horrific. It is just a bad adaptation.

Okay, let's get something straight; between the whole "Superman vs. Hulk" hoopla... It all depends on which Superman and Hulk we're talking about. If you want to have the most ultimate of ultimate showdowns- you need to face them against eachother in their prime.
As the Hulk is right now (I'm referring to the Green Scar Hulk, whose power level is virutally limitless), he would own Superman with some ease. He was neckandneck with the Sentry (thee most powerful superhero in existance) for God's sake!
However, if you take Superman from say, hmmm, Kingdom Come (Superman is virtually indestructible, kryptonite no longer effects him; due to all of the solar energy he's absorbed over the years), then it's a pretty fair battle.
But then (!) you've got to look at this: Shazaam beat Supe's ass in Kingdom Come. So really, Shazaam is theoretically more powerful then Superman. But also... The Sentry is essentially more powerful than Shazaam, Hulk and Superman...
Sentry, FTW.

Bulma looks hot, but where's the green/blue hair? The only way to do this movie was to do it exact... And that doesn't look like the case.
