I would like to see Black Mask or Hush grace the silver screen... but their not main stream characters so not likely.

why is Bane a mindless brute? He must've started posting on the SHH forums.

HOLY AWESOME GAME BATMAN!!! Lol just kidding. But i love batman games(yes even the ones that suck)......Am i the only person here that liked Batman: Vengence?

Movie casting ideas

Josh duhamen as Black Mask
Ray Winstone as Penguin
Amber Heard as Catwoman
Fairuza Baulk as Harley Quinn
Rhona Mitra as Talia Al Ghul
Andy Serkis as Mad Hatter
Evan Rachel Wood as Batgirl

Petey Parker... yes.
Vengence had a way cool story, but play...well, not so.

Rodrigo, nice casting! Like the way the movies don't make the villians to outlandish. The new video game is gonna be sick. BE THE MAN. BATMAN!

@ Rodrigo
"Fairuza Baulk as Harley Quinn"

so right on...I just had a Nerdgasm!!!

Serkis as Mad Hatter would be perfect. He could be a creepy pedo who was driven insane by Scarecrow's gas and hallucinates Wonderland everywhere he sees.
They shouldnt skimp on Penguin casting. There are actual short fatsos out there that would be perfect, just like Devito was in the role. No tall people for Penguin.
I think they shuld change the suit in the next film to have the classic colors. Leave the armor, just tint it, like in the game.

Thank-you guys. Only the best for old Batsy and his chums. I also had the idea of Alessandro Nivola as the Riddler,he's very under-rated and I beleive has true skills for Riddler. He looks like Riddler from the "Hush" storyline. (Thats the last time I have seen Riddler),lol.

@ Petey Parker:

Yes! Vengeance was awesome! I loved all of the Animated-based Batman games from way back in the Sega Genesis and SNES. But Vengeance added something cooler: the gameplay and that awesome CGI feel to Timm's artwork. You can't beat that. And at a time when Terry McGuinness was flying all over TV, it was refreshing to find Bruce in the cowl.

As for Arkham Asylum, it seems just as good (if not better; not because of the artwork but because of its gameplay) I'm just glad that they didn't tackle The Batman Show! Also, it's cool to see how they designed Joker here; combining both the model from the books and Heath Ledger's smile... well put.

What a pity.I didnt know Ray was 5'10?

Bob Hoskins is 5'6 and aged 66,but with a bit of effort (Makeup),he could be good. A London Gangster Penguin.

Fairuza Balk as anything. Fairuza Balk starring in the role of a lifetime as Woman-Exploding-In-Ecstacy-Grinding-On-Soup.

Yeah.

Oh yeah Harley Quinn would be good too

This could potentially be one of the best Batman games ever....Can't wait to purchase it...Batman is truly the greatest superhero of all time...

Posted by: Stewiestew on April 16, 2009 at 15:07:46

This game looks pretty sick. Why can't all superhero games be this detailed. Most are just crap to go along with the movie. The guys or made the Rid**** game did this so I know it will be awesome. Plus Mark Hamil as the joker works with me. Now only if we can get a batman game like GTA 4 with the batmobile and awesome hand to hand combat in a Gotham that feels alive.

Posted by: Vance Astro on April 16, 2009 at 15:30:56

They should definitely not cast anyone over 5ft for the Penguin. He's gotta be a shorty.

Posted by: the guy on April 16, 2009 at 15:35:02

everyone knows that steve buscemi should be mad hatter..not serkis

Posted by: Rodrigo on April 16, 2009 at 15:39:12

If you look at The Mad Hatter from Arkham Asylum Serious on Serious Earth. Hatter in that looks EXACTLY like Andy Serkis,Im not kidding...Actually I thought Andy modelled him for that book.
