The last we heard about the big screen adaptation of Snowpiercer, The Weinstein Company was planning on cutting twenty minutes from the film to make it more accessible to some audiences. Director Bong Joon-ho recently screened the film at the Busan festival in South Korea and said “We are still in discussions about the cut, but it is clear that this is the only director’s cut you will be able to see” (via Variety).
