The return of The CW’s Arrow will see the small screen debut of one of DC’s lower-tier villains, who seems to have been reinvented very nicely – Firefly. His story will be a little different form his comic book inspiration, but it seems to work for the world of Arrow. Now the official Arrow facebook page has posted an excerpt from the series’ digital comic that pertains to Firefly’s origin. So we’ll issue a spoiler warning if you want to go in cold.
Firefly will be played by Andrew Dunbar of “SGU Stargate Universe” and will make his debut on the series when it returns on Wednesday January 16.
The show airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
