The Dominion Post reports that 30 Days of Night will be shot in New Zealand:

A vampire flick set in Alaska has become the latest big-budget Hollywood movie to be shot in New Zealand.

Previous films from the pair’s production company Ghost House Pictures include the horror Boogeyman, shot around Auckland in 2003, which starred Lawless.
