iofilm talked to director Paul McGuigan at Sundance and learned that he hopes to direct the big screen Deathlok adaptation next:
Scots director Paul McGuigan was also on hand to answer questions and I had the opportunity to speak to him on his own, too. He’s a very nice bloke and was happy to talk about the state of the Scottish film industry, Slevin and his next film, an adaptation of Marvel Comics’ Deathlok.
The Sunday Mail also reports:
He hopes to start shooting an adaptation of Marvel comics’ Deathlok – the story of a man who is half robot – later this year.
McGuigan directed Lucky Number Slevin, which hits theaters on March 31, and is attached to direct the movie version of TV show “The Equalizer”.
