“Shaun of the Dead” co-writer and director Edgar Wright is in talks to helm Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life for Universal Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film tells the story of a young slacker who meets the woman of his dreams but finds that he can win her only by first battling and defeating her seven evil ex-boyfriends.
The project, currently out to writers, is based on the graphic novel “Scott Pilgrim Volume 1: Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life,” written by Bryan Lee O’Malley.
