New Line Cinema has released the new teaser trailer for The Mask 2 in theaters with “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, but you can now also check it out online at ComingSoon.net.
The sequel carries on with the premise of a character-altering mask that was established in the 1994 blockbuster feature starring Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz.
This time around, it follows an aspiring cartoonist (Jamie Kennedy) who is not ready for fatherhood but finds himself raising a baby endowed with the powers of the mask of Loki (Alan Cumming).
The studio is targeting an October 15, 2004 release date.
