The full DC Comics April 2018 solicitations have been released, and in the gallery viewer below, you can now check out all the artwork, synopses and product images for more than 100 different upcoming releases.

The main selling point of the new solicitations is, of course, the landmark one thousandth issue of Action Comics. Available at comics retailers and digitally on April 18, Action Comics #1000 has a 10-page Superman story that serves as the DC debut of acclaimed writer Brian Michael Bendis with art by Jim Lee, plus two 15-page stories from two of DC’s current and most popular talent teams: Superman writer Peter J. Tomasi and artist Pat Gleason, as well as Action Comics writer and artist Dan Jurgens.

Contributors to this once-in-a-lifetime issue include legendary Superman movie director Richard Donner and New York Times best-selling writer Geoff Johns, with art by Olivier Coipel. Other contributing creative teams will include Paul Dini with José Luis García-López; Tom King with Clay Mann and Jordie Bellaire; Brad Meltzer with John Cassaday and Laura Martin; Louise Simonson with Jerry Ordway; Scott Snyder with Tim Sale and more to be announced.

The DC Comics April 2018 solicitations include the “final issue” of the Astro City comic book series from Kurt Busiek,, teasing a character-focused finale to the ongoing Vertigo series, and a launch point for its new form.

One notable absence from the DC Comics April 2018 solicitations is that the fifth issue of the DCU/Watchmen crossover event Doomsday Clock will not be released in the month. The fourth issue of the series will be released in February with the series set to run for 12 issues total.

You can also check out the DC Comics March 2018 solicitations from last month and check back soon to see what April will be bringing from Marvel Comics.
