Kingsman Kentucky Derby promo and Vaughn talks 3rd film
20th Century Fox has released a new Kentucky Derby promo for Kingsman: The Golden Circle which you can watch below! We also got a chance to talk to director Matthew Vaughn in London on Friday and he told us he already started planning a third filming while writing The Golden Circle. “No one will predict where Eggsy winds up” in the The Golden Circle, he said. Vaughn also mentioned that there’s so much great footage he’s being forced to cut (he hates long films), that he’s considering an extended cut down the road.
Kingsman: The Secret Service introduced the world to Kingsman – an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe. In Kingsman: The Golden Circle, our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy…
Directed by Matthew Vaughn from a script by Jane Goldman and Vaughn, and based on the comic book The Secret Service by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, Kingsman: The Golden Circle stars Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry with Sir Elton John, and Channing Tatum, and Jeff Bridges. It will arrive in theaters on September 22.
