The four-player co-op game takes placed after the events of the upcoming film and sees players forming a new squad of Ghostbusters. Players will be able to pick from male and female characters vying to keep New York City safe, again.

Play alongside your friends as the Ghostbusters in the 2-4 player local co-op campaign and dynamically swap weapons during battle with unique options for each character. Battle new and classic Ghostbusters characters, including Slimer, Gertrude Eldridge, Sparky and many more!

The new Ghostbusters film stars Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy as scientists Erin Gilbert and Abby Yates, respectively. Gilbert is a particle physicist while Yates, Gilbert’s close friend, is an expert in the paranormal. As ghost sightings ramp up, they team with Kate McKinnon‘s Jillian Holtzmann, a nuclear engineer who winds up creating the team’s tech. Leslie Jones‘ Patty Tolan, then, is the team’s everyman character who winds up playing an important role connected to an early supernatural encounter.

The Ghostbusters movie is directed by Paul Feig from a script he co-wrote with Katie Dippold.
