Gotham Adds BD Wong as Professor Hugo Strange!

Gotham finds its Hugo Strange in Jurassic World’s BD Wong

Following the announcement earlier this week that “House of Cards” actor Nathan Darrow has joined the cast of Gotham as Victor Fries, FOX (via Comic Book) has now announced that Jurassic World actor BD Wong has also come aboard and will play the villain Professor Hugo Strange.

The version of the character fans will see in the series is described as appearing “altruistic, but he harbors a dark secret” which will make him “Gotham’s greatest threat.” Hugo Strange originally appeared in Detective Comics #36, pre-dating a number of other high-profile Batman villains and going on to become the first supervillain to figure out Batman’s true identity.

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Michael Chiklis as Detective Nathaniel Barnes, Sean Pertwee as Alfred, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle/the future Catwoman, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/the future Riddler, James Frain as Theo Galavan, Jessica Lucas as Tabitha Galavan, Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox, Nicholas D’Agosto as Harvey Dent, Zabryna Guevara as Captain Sarah Essen.
