Endgame Promo for the Final Episodes of The Flash Released

Following the preview that debuted last week, The CW has released the “Endgame” preview for “The Flash,” teasing the final four episodes of the inaugural season. Check it out below!

This week brings us Episode 1.20, titled “The Trap.” Written by by Alison Schapker and Brooke Eikmeier and directed by Steve Shill, “The Trap” is officially described as follows:

“Barry (Grant Gustin), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) set a trap for Wells (Tom Cavanagh). Cisco uses himself as prey which puts him in grave danger. Meanwhile, Eddie (Rick Cosnett) makes a decision regarding Iris (Candice Patton), which leaves Joe a bit unsettled.”

Then, airing May 5, is “Grodd Lives.” Written by Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing and directed by Doug Aarniokoski, the official synopsis reads as follows:

“Barry (Grant Gustin) must deal with the Reverse Flash’s (Tom Cavanagh) latest threat to a member of the group. To make matter worse, Dr. Wells unleashes Grodd on the city in order to distract Barry and the team. Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Barry and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) head down into the sewers to catch Grodd but the gorilla quickly gets the upper hand after he kidnaps Joe. Iris (Candice Patton) and Barry have a heart to heart talk.”

Following that on May 12 will come “Rogue Air, written by Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing and directed by Doug Aarniokoski. It is described as follows:

“As Wells (Tom Cavanagh) once again gets the upper hand on the S.T.A.R. Labs team, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes he needs to make a big move and reaches out to an old foe, Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), for help. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) warn Barry that Cold can’t be trusted. True to form, Cold has his own agenda that involves the meta-humans trapped in the containment cells. As things seem to be going from bad to worse, The Flash gets reinforcements – Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell) and Firestorm (guest star Robbie Amell).”

We don’t yet have a description for the season finale, “Fast Enough,” but that episode is set to debut May 19. It is written by Gabrielle Stanton and Andrew Kreisberg from a story by Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti.
