The Dark Horse Comics May 2015 solicitations have arrived and, in the gallery viewer below, you can check out all the new cover art alongside each book’s synopsis.
Among the highlights of Dark Horse’s May slate is the much anticipated “Fight Club 2,” the comic book continuation of Chuck Palahniuk’s 1996 novel (adapted into the 20th Century Fox feature film directed by David Fincher and starring Edward Norton and Brad Pitt).
“Some imaginary friends never go away,” the book’s official description teases. “Ten years after starting Project Mayhem, he lives a mundane life. A kid, a wife, pills to keep his destiny at bay. But it won’t last long; the wife has seen to that. The time has come… Rize or Die.”
Palahniuk writes the miniseries, planned for ten issues, which features art by Cameron Stewart and color by Dave Stewart. David Mack provide the cover with Lee Bermejo and Stewart himself offering some stylish variants.
Speaking of variants, be sure to also check out the different covers on the second issue of “Archie vs. Predator,” the four issue miniseries that pits the intergalactic hunter against the Riverdale teen. Dustin Nguyen delivers one colorful take with Robert Hack offering up a dark, pulpy take on the franchise crossover.
