Yesterday on “Star Wars Day,” Lucasfilm debuted a new photo on their Instagram account featuring Disney Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger and an unnamed Wookie, whom many believe might be our first look at actor Peter Mayhew in the Chewbacca costume once again. Check it out below!
Set to star John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow in addition to original cast members Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker, Star Wars: Episode VII will be directed by J.J Abrams from a script he co-wrote with Lawrence Kasdan. It will open in wide release on December 18, 2015.
