Warning: Spoilers for the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead.
That headline may have given you déjà vu from just after the third season of AMC’s hit series “The Walking Dead,” especially when it seemed unclear if David Morrissey would return as The Governor. We now know that not only did he return, but he bit the dust in a pretty satisfying way in the mid-season finale as well. Does that mean he’s totally out of the picture for the series though?
In an interview with PA (via Zap2It), Morrissey said, “I feel like a shady politician where I can’t confirm and I can’t deny anything. Certainly, bad things befell him at the end of the last episode but we just have to wait and see.”
It’s not unheard of for a character on “The Walking Dead” to re-appear as another character’s hallucination following their death. Do you want to see The Governor return in some capacity on “The Walking Dead?” Sound off below!
