According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel comics legend Stan Lee and former Marvel Studios president Avi Arad are teaming up on a new movie project. All the details are being kept under wraps currently, with Arad saying “Some titles give away too much.”
Set up at Columbia Pictures, the project will be produced by Arad, Arad Productions’ Ari Arad, Lee and Lee’s partner at POW! Entertainment, Gill Champion. The script is said to still be in its early stages with the producers set to begin meeting with screenwriters to take on writing duties soon.
“At the ripe old age of 90, he can still put together magic,” Arad said about Lee. “He’s as sharp as a Japanese cooking knife. His mind is as young as it used to be.”
Though we’re not certain, if we were to venture a guess about the film’s content, based on the pair’s track record, it likely has something to do with superheroes.
