X-Force Relaunching as One Comic Next Year

Following their four-part crossover  “Vendetta” next year, Marvel’s two X-Force titles (Cable and X-Force and Uncanny X-Force) will come to a close, and a new comic will be born simply titled X-Force. Featuring the likes of Cable, Psylocke, Marrow, and Fantomex on the team, the series will be written by Si Spurrier and drawn by artist Rock He-Kim.

“What I’ve taken from those early X-Force episodes is a take-no-prisoners attitude towards action,” Spurrier told USA Today. “But I like to think I’ve injected a little post-millennial sophistication, too. This isn’t a steroidal macho-fest: It’s a slick, nasty, oh-so-grim beast that’ll cut your throat and blow up your headquarters before you even know it’s there.”

The new series will debut in February of 2014 along with the recently-announced Ms. Marvel series and a slew of other new comics. Will you be picking up X-Force?
