Comic-Con: Hulk TV Series Put On Hold

Back in January, we reported that writer/director Guillermo del Toro had gotten no word back to him from Marvel about working on the television series for The Incredible Hulk.

“I met with Jeph Loeb after ‘Avengers,’ but after that meeting, there’s been complete radio silence on the show,” he said at the time.

Looks like ours and Del Toro’s worst fears could be justified as Head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb revealed that the project is “on pause” for the time being (via MTV). Loeb never outright said the project was finished but justified the delay by explaining ”the world of TV is about timing.”

Marvel is likely putting plans for a Hulk TV series on the back burner to focus on the remainder of their Phase 2 films and their new live action TV series “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Perhaps they’re toying with the idea of another Hulk film, which would make a TV series redundant.

What do you think? Do you want to see The Hulk on television or should Marvel keep him in the movies? Sound off below!
