Rob Liefeld Wrote a Screenplay About the Rise of Image Comics

Rob Liefeld is a pretty divisive person in the current comic book community, but in the early ’90s he, along with the rest of the Image Comics team, was a rock star. Liefeld has apparently written down everything that happened during that time, from meeting Todd McFarlane to their depature form Marvel Comics and he’s written it into a screenplay (that he wrote in three days) called iCON.

Dreammoviecast.com has posted excerpts from the script and we’ve included a few pages for you reading pleasure below. Liefeld also revealed his dream cast for the project with Christian Bale as Todd McFarlane, Rob Corddry as Erik Larsen, John Cho as Jim Lee, and Chris Pine as Liefeld. He also confirmed on Twitter that he’s attempting to get the script produced.
