Oliver Queen hasn’t even graced our TV screens yet and he’s already building up quite the rogues gallery in his first season. Already confirmed for the show are DC villains Deathstroke and China White, but this weekend it was confirmed by ksitetv.com that Deadshot will be coming to the all new CW TV show. No word on who will be playing the character, but he is set to appear in the show’s third episode appropriately titled ‘Lone Gunman.’
GreenArrowTV caught up with star Stephen Amell and asked him how things are going to go down between Oliver Queen and Floyd Lawton: “Unfavorably, for Deadshot, I would suspect. I can tell you that they are going to be after some of the same people. Oliver does have a code. Obviously, it doesn’t include ‘no killing,’ as we’ve established so far, but there is a code. I don’t think Deadshot has it. I don’t think he respects his methods, which puts him in Oliver’s sights.”
From Greg Berlanti (Green Lantern), Marc Guggenheim (Green Lantern), Andrew Kreisberg (Warehouse 13, Fringe) and David Nutter (Smallville, Supernatural, Game of Thrones), the hard-hitting action series reinvents the DC hero. After being marooned for five years on a remote island, billionaire Oliver Queen returns home with a mysterious agenda and very lethal new set of skills that he uses in a war on crime. The series premieres Wednesday, October 10th at 8 PMET/PT
The series stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance.
