SuperHeroHype Reviews Thor!

If you live in most parts of the world, you've probably already seen Marvel Studios' Thor, but if you're in North America, you won't have a chance to see it until Friday, May 6.

Fortunately, two of ComingSoon.net/SuperHeroHype's reviewers have seen it and they've posted their reviews of the anticipated movie directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins and more.

Scott Chitwood says:

A great cast and a fun-filled, action-packed story make "Thor" a movie that both fans of the comic and general audiences can enjoy. It's a great start to a summer filled with superhero movies. It sets the bar high and certainly builds a lot of anticipation for both "The Avengers" and another Thor sequel. Definitely check it out in theaters as soon as possible.

Joshua Starnes says:

Branagh's reimagining of "Thor" the comic keeps everything about the spirit of the character and dumps the rest, taking it from Jack Kirby's fascination with mythology and gods and turning it into something human and relatable. Though occasionally wry it's not as out and out fun as some of the best comic films, but "Thor" rises to the challenge on the back of solid storytelling and a focus on character more action films could do with.

Thor opens in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D North American theaters on Friday, May 6. Stay tuned to SuperHeroHype for an entire week of features and other fun stuff from the movie.
