Fox has aired this new promo for "Human Target," the graphic novel adaptation that premieres on Sunday, January 17 at 8/9pm ET. The full-throttle, action-packed drama is about a unique private contractor (Mark Valley) who will stop at nothing even if it means becoming a human target to save his clients. Chi McBride and Jackie Earle Haley co-star in the series.

Mark Valley would make a perfect Captain America. He doesn't have to be younger. It could be an older soldier that has injuries and his option if he wants to stay in the field (which he loves) is to undergo the Super Soldier Serum treatment. I dunno. But it would be super easy to have an older Cap. It's either that or we're going to end up with someone like Channing Tatum. I'd rather have an older actor that can act. Mark Valley also fits the bill physically and has prior Army experience. He served in the first Gulf War. Cap has to be able to hold his own with the likes of Nick Fury, Thor and Stark, as well as command respect on the battlefield and back up his threats to his enemies.

Anybody read the "Human Target" Vertigo mini-series (4 issues) released, I believe, back in 1998? It was written by Peter Milligan and Edvin Biukovic.
Anyways, that would make for a great film. They could get George Clooney in the lead and that film would seriously kick ass. The book is very well written and drawn. Amazing stuff to work with there. Really. Check it out.

looks like they are taking a shot at making a series that copies the 007 style of action...but seriously failing with the acting and all. NO ONE CAN COPY DANIEL CRAIG'S JAMES BOND!! He is the one and only.

Agree with those who say Valley for Capt. America. I've thought that ever since I saw him in "Keen Eddie" a couple of years ago. He's got the look, the accent, the acting chops ... I don't care how old he is -- Valley -- unlike any 20-something actors I can think of -- can stand up to Downey's Stark and certainly Hemsworth's Thor, and make them follow him into battle.
That said, I'm looking forward to checking out Human Target. Looks fun.
