Stephen Susco Penning Hack/Slash
Source:ShockTillYouDrop.com
November 16, 2009

ShockTillYouDrop.com reports that Stephen Susco (Red, The Grudge) has signed on to write Hack/Slash, which has had previous drafts by Justin Marks, Todd Lincoln, Ben Magid and Martin Schenk.

The site says that "Shock was able to confirm Susco's involvement, however, he was not available to comment about his take on the project and whether or not he was starting from scratch or simply revising the script that's currently out there."

Based on the Devil's Due Publishing comic book series, Hack/Slash chronicles the adventures of Hack, a young woman who travels to small towns across the country hunting slashers.

Second...
Can't wait to see who they cast as Cassie Hack.

Oh Lord...here comes the Megan Fox fan club...

to Drunken Monk: LOL! So true. I'm so tired of hearing her name & how she should be cast for just about every movie. So annoying.

Yeah Jessica, as long as the character's a brunette they all come yelling her name...

@Drunken Monk

But Megan Fox would be so awesome. lol
j/k she would be ****ing terrible.

I think Kat Dennings would be a great choice.

Can't wait to see this. I've read the books and this has a lot of potential as a movie

Kat Denning is awesome, but I can't really see her playing Cassy.

This was Megan's role from before Transformers 1 came out.

I hope they make this well, i love this series, its bloody kick-ass

Yeah, Megan would look the part, but she'd suck in the role acting-wise. Even though she doesn't have blue eyes, I'd say Eliza Dushku. She's be perfect. And if the blue eyes became a huge deal, they could always do it digitally. And I agree Kat Dennings would be a good candidate.

I wish Rhona Mitra was 10 years younger...she hotter than Fox and a much better actor...

True. I just wasn't sure how affective colored contacts would work on someone with dark eyes.

Forget Megan Fox, to date I haven't even seen one movie she's been in. When looking at the picture above and reading the books, I personally see Emily Perkins as Cass. (See Ginger Snaps 2) Emily has been in several horror movies growing up, and I think she totally looks the part, would love to see Emily in this movie!
