After seeing the trailer i'm glad to see a promo that shows that this isn't all lighthearted and campy.
I'm pretty pumped for this one.

is it me or does he look like Casey Affleck's clone?

This is dumb. This movie looks okay, but if they did a straight on TRANSLATION of the comic book, it would have been better. I mean, seeing Nic Cage as Big Daddy in a faux-Batman-body armor costume and Red Mist look like something so scarily foreign from the source material has me worried. I mean, seriously, Red Mist in the movie looks like Robin from the early 1990's.
That being said, I'll sit here munching on my Cheet-oh's, criticizing everything there is to criticize about this movie, and keep watching this site on one window, and candid photos of delicously masculine feMALE Pro-Wrestler Chyna in another window.
And why are people so "pumped up" for this movie? I thought the only thing that could literally pump you up was a gas pump in your mouth or steroids. I got to get me some of these movies because here I am taking steroids like Chyna and making my voice so high that I sound like a Eurodance one-hit-wonder. *pumps fist* THIRD!!!!

Why is this poster on a photobucket account?

senorashish? Is that you? From the tdk board on IMDb? I'm Morgan if you remember.
Glad to see they are sticking close to the book. And to those who say this looks kiddy, read the book. This ain't kiddy at all.

Sorry, myspace.

I thought it was a pretty good shot in the trailer... I might snag it and use it for an icon on those days I feel like that.. LOL
I'm kinda interested in this movie... It might be an improvement for Comic book movies...

@ ThatOneGuy
Yes, that's me form the imdb TDK board. I remember you, Morgan. How could I ever forget. *blushes*
@ Honest Fan
Agreed. Why couldn't they get someone that at least looked like some scrawny teenager. Instead, they go the face-coveringly-lame route by casting some twenty year old as someone in their teen. Oy.

I'm sorry, but the more I look at this poster, the more it reminds me of a really young Sly Stallone during his Rocky days. Just think about the opening of "Rocky" when we first see him and his face is all bloodied and brused. This reminds me of that.

I remember you from the IMDb boards too. lol

This will be one of the stupiest movies of the year, complete waste of time and money, looks awful, stick to brand name superheroes, stop making this crap, whoever heard of this comic anyway?, seriously, just cause McLovin is it, doenst mean anything, I made up my mind about this during the first 5 seconds of the trailer with the guy on the building, I should have shut it off when I saw that, wish I did

Am I the only one that's noticing how stupid his hair looks and how inaccurate it is from the comic book? Oh well, I'm still gonna watch it.

I'm so pumped and for those of you *****ing and complaing about translation to the comic grow up as long it comes pretty close idc you can't have everything you want from comics to movies!!!

I hear that ignorance is bliss. Judging by some of the posts on this page, I'd say a few of you are in a constant state of perfect happiness.
I digress.
This movie is going to be awesome if for no other reason than Matthew Vaughn, but it has plenty of other reasons too! Can't wait!

I'm not a huge marc miller fan. I hated Wanted the comic & the film even more. I can't say anything good about this film either.

I thought I've seen it all. I've lived long enough to see a comic on the shelves named "Kick Ass", and now a movie. Um...pass.

senorashish, you are a douche-bag.
