First, I still dont see clear gameplay and it is about to come out

AWESOME!!! That is if you enjoy videos that fail to load. I am looking forward to this game but I'm not impressed by the character choices they made. There was definitely more diversity in the first game. Ok...I'll be happy if they make Hawkeye unlockable or DLC. Even if he's an alternate costume for Ronin.

It loads fine in Firefox. We're trying to figure out what the problem is in IE.

OK...now I see it...and it looks good.

Well ****, i really wanted to see the movie. the game play looks a lot better this time and you dont have to look at it with such an "overhead" view, it looks more immersive. I'm all for that.

still nothing! what gives?
Posted by: rbiel22 on September 11, 2009 at 14:22:50
It looks good but the video quality isn't so great. Is there an HD version available?
Posted by: RadioShack Man on September 11, 2009 at 14:25:07
Looks pretty cool. Loved the first one, I'm sure I will love this one since it follows my favorite story line, which is Civil War. Gonna have to play it through twice though for each side, just don't know which side to play as first.

Not working on Macs

Forget about what studio owns what character for a second. Imagine a movie with all those characters together. Spider-Man, FF, Captain America, Hulk, X-Men, all the rest.
Something draws them to fight amongst each other then band together to fight a villain or villains of epic proportions.

its working now, kick ass
Posted by: N-Famuz on September 11, 2009 at 15:09:48
oh and to matthooper, i certainly agree with you brother. the videos in the first ultimate alliance were movie quality if you ask me. let them just bleed together and be a feature film that would be so bad ass. and with the power of disney behind them im sure pixar could make some killer ones.

Ok, I need some help here: I lost track of comics along time ago and I know that there is an ultimate version of Captain America (no wings on the mask) and in the first game Ultimate Alliance, they made that version of the character. Now I'm seeing that in this game (which by what I've read is a version of Civil War) Cap has the wings on him again. I don't understand that. Why is that so? The game is called Ultimate Alliance because it takes place in the Ultimate Universe, does it? Please help me understand! Thanks!

Holy $#!?!!! That looks amazing! I loved the mini-series and this seems to follow the story line perfectly. Nice to see a game follow an actual comic book storyline for once. Visually much better than the first game.

Jerry,
It has nothing to do with the Ultimate Marvel line. The game takes place in the regular Marvel Universe during the Civil War Mini-Series which covers the disagreement between half the Marvel heroes over the Superhero Registration Act. The government wants all heroes to reveal their identities. Iron Man agrees and Cap doesn't. An all out war ensues between the the two factions. Lot's of heroes died including Cap himself but he's alive again. No one stays dead in comics anymore. You can get the trade paperback, it's worth the $15. But I have no idea why he doesn't have his wings. Costumes seem to change weekly in comics now a days.

Jerry, the video game takes elements from 616 and Ultimates...it is it's own universe.

@Anton Ego
Then get a PC.

I agree with the guys above...an epic animated (Pixar perhaps?) Marvel movie using all of it's heroes and villians in a Secret Wars type senario is something I'm really waiting for...let's face it, live action will probably never happen, unless actors start working for free and Marvel gets all it's character rights back...in other words, not in a million years...

@ Anton Ego
I have a Mac and it didn't work earlier but, now the vid pops up fine. It's a preety good vid for the game even tho, I wasn't a fan of Civil War.

This definitely needs to be turned to an anime series. Or use the technology they used for the FINAL FANTASY SEVEN DVD

I wonder if Donald Duck is in there too LOL
Posted by: Rodrigo on September 11, 2009 at 19:47:41
@ Wolverine_X

First game was incredible, and this one will be even more greater.

Looks cool, and I really enjoyed the last one, but I'm still going to see how it does with reviews before laying down any cash.
Posted by: Mr Rogers on September 11, 2009 at 20:54:33
Does anyone else think it's odd that Hulk is playable? He wasn't even on planet earth when Civil War was going on.
