New Surrogates Behind-the-Scenes Featurette!

Touchstone Pictures has provided us with this new behind-the-scenes look at director Jonathan Mostow's Surrogates, opening in theaters on September 25.

In the action-thriller, people are living their lives remotely from the safety of their own homes via robotic surrogates—sexy, physically perfect mechanical representations of themselves. It's an ideal world where crime, pain, fear and consequences don't exist. When the first murder in years jolts this utopia, FBI agent Greer (Bruce Willis) discovers a vast conspiracy behind the surrogate phenomenon and must abandon his own surrogate, risking his life to unravel the mystery.

The graphic novel was so-so. Interesting concept, but a mediocre story. The movie looks good.

Hmmm, take The Island and A.I. and you have... tada... The Surrogates.

I'll watch it purely for Bruce Willis' talent and some good explosions.
