Surprisingly the people at the summit panel during comic-con seem enthused, or maybe they were just waiting for the twilight panel.

It looks kinda cool. Hope they don't screw this up like other anime cartoons.

This proves that Hollywood is completely devoid of any kind of original thought.

@ Ghaos
Hahahaha, Nick's voice creeped me out, too. Idk why, it was just creepy.
But the movie looks pretty good. I'll definitely see it.

this is for real original anime fans so all you naruto, full metal alchemist ( really, a suit of armor with a lion cloth?!?)and whatever piles of crap that passes for anime fans need to stay away from this one!

It may not be anime, but I care. I look forward to seeing this. Though, might be a little too silly.

Oh come on... who's really looking at that and claiming the world doesn't care because of their own opinion? Or worse, who's looking at that and giving the old "waaah hollywood, no ideas no more waah" spiel?
This movie looks like a hell of a lot of fun. I mean come on, as kids we all wanted to be able to fly and have canon arms and save the world, right? That's why wer're all so into superheroes, we're supposed to love that stuff! Instead of whining and complaining, when a movie like this comes out just think back to all of the times you ran around your neighborhood pretending you were flying and protecting the world and please, just let it all go and get a little excited.
At the very least, don't try and spread your bitterness and ruin it for the rest of us who still want to see what it's like to fly.

HUGE Astroboy fan right here! i grew up watching the animation, so i cant wait to see it on the big screen. and although they have tweaked a thing or several, so far it all looks to be for the better.

@ ccg, LOL you're right, in more ways than one!
