Looks EXCELLENT from what little that they show. I am getting so hyped for this movie and DVD short! I hope that Synder doesn't let me(us) down. From what I've seen so far, he might just knock it out of the park! (Maybe for once the "venom-spitting" Alan Moore might be pleased...I doubt it though!)

They really went all out on this. Psyched.

My only conundrum is whether to buy it on Blu-Ray and a separate copy of the movie when it's released or wait until the inevitable "Ultimate Director's Cut" of the film that has it integrated into the movie or included as a bonus feature. I'll probably choose option #3: BUY ALL THREE! Damn you Warners and your tricky marketing plans to get the most of my hard-earned cash!

Is it posted to Youtube yet?

nice loved this "other story" in the novel. can't wait for the raft of dead bodies part!

Nice, I always wanted to see the entire story of the black freighter when I read Watchmen. So hopefully they completely flesh out the story and dont just piece together all the bits from the graphic novel. I also wonder if the under the hood part is going to be animated or just writing in one of the menus...

Thank god they seperated it from the main movie. It just would have confused people.

Whats up with MTV being all exclusive. There's MTV in other countries so why can't other countries view the god damn movie. MTV can suck it.

Calm the **** down Marvel. Don't make me b!tch slap you into your parents basement. Isn't it possible to like Wolverine AND Watchmen? Considering Watchmen is one of the greatest graphic novels/books/whatever, maybe it's better than Wolverine. Just stop trashing other people because you like something better than the other.

For everybody outside of the US, have you tried YouTube? (honest question, not sure if the same restriction applies there)

looks like an animated pirtate version on the 300
but its that comic that black kid is always read when rorshach is holding up the sign"the end is nigh"
which i dont see the point this has with movie storyline i thought it was jus stupid side bs

Trailer looks good, but what's with the Herbal Essence shampoo ad tacked on the beginning of it?
Nothing against them making some ad bucks, but who the heck thinks Black Freighter fans are a good target demographic for herbal Essence shampoo??!!

Seriously - you're too young or too stupid to see the movie or read the book. I doubt if you have read the book, tbh and if you did, I bet you skipped the text pieces too, didn't you?

If you don't understand what relevance the Black Freighter has, at least try looking it up on Wiki so you don't look like a total fool.

Honestly, I can't believe some of the absolute drivel some of you spout on this board.

God help us all!

i have a feeling this will confuse those who have not had the pleasure of reading Watchmen.

Oh this looks so ****ing awsome.
Btw, i live in Sweden and i could watch it.

This movie will be THE movie of 2009.

**** yeah, dude. Best animated movie tie-in since Animatrix. Other franchises have tried to duplicate its seamlessness integration (see: TDK and Rid****), but leave it to Alan Moore's source material to pull it off.
