Who Wants to be a Superhero? Casting Call!

SCI FI Channel just released the following announcement:

Do you have a superhero persona you've been itching to try on? SCI FI Channel will hold local auditions for the second season of its breakout reality hit Who Wants To Be A Superhero? starring legendary comic book creator Stan Lee. Auditions will be held in association with WrestleMania's annual Fan Axxess Tour that kicks off Saturday, January 14 in Miami, Florida.

Potential heroes from all walks of life are encouraged to attend these local auditions in costume and tape their audition which will then be shared with producers and casting executives in Los Angeles. *March 3-4 Spring Break South Padre Island, TX

*March 10-11 Washington, DC

*March 17 Philadelphia, PA

*Audition details for these cities will be available on the website one week prior.

Auditioning superheroes should be prepared to prove their mettle revealing the true nature of their superhuman abilities and invoking the noble credos by which they live. From these thousands of hopefuls, Stan Lee will choose finalists to move into a secret lair and compete for the opportunity to become a real-life Superhero!

Finalists will leave their former lives behind and live as their brainchild heroes 24/7, all under Stan Lee's watchful eye. In the end, only one aspiring Superhero will have the strength and nobility to open the gates to comic book immortality.

Who Wants To Be A Superhero? is a production of Nash Entertainment, in association with Stan Lee's POW! Entertainment, Inc. Bruce Nash and Stan Lee serve as executive producers.

looking for work found job at a icy hot chemical factorie as a matnice man was replaceing a hook on the crane so vat #1 could be completed fell ladder rip out from under me hit my head on a metal pipe and drop in to a vat of chemicals that make the icy hot smoothing gell for the musucles 4year coma woke up 20 years younger and was put in a spcial hospital called a2121 found out that half my body could menipulate fire and the other half couled do the same with ice there for i was called icy hot all though i am still working on the name they told me my body had a problem rejenurating its skin and that they had to atach a new found technoledge called brainmetal it was unbreakable could not be penitrated and it was weather resitant it ran like a half cut out metal pipe down my spin and to the backs of my elbows and the backs of my knees it was hooked up to my cerabellum so i coud think of a protection object and it would form around my body i also found out that i could rejenerat when it wraped my body in metal my search is simple to become a new superhero at my new found age .

My name is Walidah Henley. As a young girl I really enjoyed watching Dragon Ball Z and Captain Planate. These cartoons at one time gave me inspiration to become a cartoon animator/voice animator. Now I’m 20 yrs. And my thoughts have changed a bit. But one day I was surfing the internet for fun and I saw auditions for who wants to be a superhero. I filed an application for the fun of it. The next morning someone called me to sing up Saturday at 1:30 in Miami. I did not make it because I was unsure. Today I made up a superhero and her name is Rainbow warrior. She fight to protect the civilians with her exzilertating power of eliminating spectrum through this she brings happiness into one that is full of anger.

Her motto is “ Fading is Degrading I’ll stand out with the colors of exzilerating Blaring”

if they ever make a season 3, i've got a superhero already made. my superhero name is vertigo. i can alter my molecular density to become intangible or indestructable. i can also alter my body's gravitational field to either levitate, gain super strength, or gravitate objects toward me. lastly, i have a sonic shriek that causes symptoms of vertigo, hence the superhero name "vertigo".

i got both seasons 1&2 and they are good in thier own way and my hero is thunderman and he can travel in the speed of light in lightning and he has a thunderbolt for a sword

I geuss I am the only one that has multiple hero ideas (about 160 and counting), but oddly enough my favorite is not even a mutant. Do to a birth defect, his muscle are tense when he is relaxed and relax when he is tense releasing great strength and speed with other pluses. But having a lightning bolt as a sword is pritty cool.

i have a superhero but there is no way i'm giving out information about him/them on the internet. ideas get stolen quickly. so if i were you people i wouldn't post anything about your superhero ideas. =/
