Emmanuelle Vaugier has been tapped for the title role in Sci Fi Channel's two-hour pilot Painkiller Jane, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Painkiller Jane, from NBC Universal TV and MGM TV, is based on the Event Comics' series about Jane, a young Marine officer who gains self-healing powers when she is exposed to a biochemical weapon.
