TV Guide reports that former “Beverly Hills 90210” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” star Brian Austin Green has been cast on “Smallville” as the DC Comics villain Metallo.
Green will appear as the kryptonite-powered villain (alter ego “Daily Planet” journo John Corben) in at least the first two episodes of Season 9, which premieres Friday, Sept. 25.
The magazine adds that the role of Zod still has yet to be cast.
