Variety reports that Budapest-based special effects company Filmefex worked on Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Spoilers ahead!):
Filmefex specializes mostly in makeup and prosthetics work. On “Hellboy 2,” the company was involved in making a special creature for a scene that takes place in a troll market, as well as building statues and several full-sized replicas of the Golden Army.
You can read more at the link above, but, as ShockTillYouDrop.com has learned, the photo credited at Variety as being from “Hellboy 2” is in fact from the 2006 film Taxidermia instead.
