Hasbro, Inc. released the following announcement today about the company’s upcoming Spider-Man products:
Everybody’s favorite friendly neighborhood SPIDER-MAN will be swinging back into theaters on May 4, 2007, in Columbia Pictures SPIDER-MAN 3, amid a web of anticipation and excitement among Super Hero fans worldwide. To whet appetites and to spin a web of enthusiasm for the latest Spider-Man adventure, Hasbro will launch its new line of SPIDER-MAN 3 and SPIDER-MAN classic toys, games and collectibles in stores on March 24, 2007.
The antics of Peter Parker’s alter-ego are the basis of a pop-culture phenomenon that has ruled the comic book world for more than four decades. SPIDER-MAN has made countless appearances on television and on the silver screen, with the first two movies in the franchise ranking among the top 20 highest grossing movies worldwide of all-time! With all this fame, it’s no surprise that SPIDER-MAN has become an important piece of pop culture and the most recognizable Super Hero in the MARVEL universe.

On March 24, 2007, Hasbro will launch a line of action figures based on the highly anticipated Sony Pictures feature film, SPIDER-MAN 3, due out May 4, 2007.
