We’ve got some more Spider-Man 2 updates for you heading into the weekend. First up, ‘thaispdergrl’ tells us that the official website has made available the video for Ordinary’s “Train” in case you’d like to check it out.
Yahoo! Movies has added a special section for the sequel which includes seven clips, interviews and more.
‘Miss Doom’ says that Kirsten Dunst will be on Late Show with David Letterman on Monday, 6/28, and Alfred Molina will be on Jimmy Kimmell Live on Monday, 6/21. As previously mentioned, Tobey Maguire will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Tuesday, June 22. The premiere will also take place in Los Angeles on the 22nd.
‘Oranday’ has a rather big update from Mexico…
Hey guys, I write to you from Aguascalientes, Mexico. Just want to let you know that Spider-Man 2 publicity has started to heat up here in Mexico. Here’s the scoop:
A few weeks ago, a clip from the movie was shown at half-time in the broadcast of the Mexican Major League Soccer finals. It showed the fight between Spidey and Dock-Ock in the train, and other images from the trailer. and the banner said: July 2004 (coz that’s when the movie is going to be premiered in Mexico).
Until a few days ago, more and more theaters have been puting Spider-Man 2 ads in their walls. It’s the one where we see Dock Ock’s reflection in Spidey’s eyes.
Kellogg’s has just released a Spider-Man themed cereal that I guess it’s already available in the US.
A candy company that makes lollipops called “Buba-Extreme” has put Spidey in the lollipop’s wrapper.
Also, Latin AXN (the TV network) has an image of Spidey hangin’ in their banner, and TV spots anouncing a contest to win a trip to the premiere have been in constant rotation.
