10 DC Comics Cities Perfect for Their Own TV Series

GORILLA CITY

Notable Locations? Abruuk Asylum.

What’s the Focus? So this one is absolutely a long shot, but who wouldn’t want to watch a show about hyper intelligent apes running their own kingdom and coming into conflict with other nations and superhumans? In the wake of Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the world is strangely interested in smart ape stories and Gorilla City can fulfill that need. Many people use “Game of Thrones” as their pitch model for many things so just think of Gorilla City as “Game of Thrones” but with apes. Plus, potential spoiler here, given a certain Easter egg in the pilot for “The Flash,” this one isn’t completely out of the realm of possibility.

Our next city might not have appeared in the DCU proper, but it’s still very much a DC city per say. Check it out on page 10!
