9 X-Men Movies Fox Should Make

OLD MAN LOGAN

“Old Man Logan” tells the story of a future Marvel Universe where the bad guys won. Wolverine is the only hero left in the world, but he’s a broken and beaten man who refuses to fight back anymore. When he’s approached by the now-blind-former-Avenger Hawkeye, he takes a trip to the heart of the desolate America to try and make things right for his family. Featuring cameos from all the biggest Marvel characters, it’s The Road Warrior meets Marvel.

I don’t think I’m too out of line to call “Old Man Logan” Mark Millar’s best comic book work. The story is heart-wrenching, attention-consuming, and one of the most satisfying reads I’ve ever come across. Even people I know who don’t like Wolverine like “Old Man Logan.” But why should it be a movie? I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of superhero movies and the best way to make sure that doesn’t happen is to mix them up. Not every movie is about getting the powers and fighting the bad guy, taking a proven character and placing him in a setting that is quite popular at the time (post-apocalyptic) that seems like the kind of experiment that would pay off at the box office. Plus, with Mark Millar serving as a creative consultant to Fox, you know he’s in their ears asking about doing this one.

Which characters did we miss? How would you want to see any of these adapted for the big screen? Which X-Man has a bum wrap and needs his own movie? Sound off below!
