TV Guide has learned that Odessa Rae has been cast as Silver Banshee on The CW’s “Smallville.” Rae (“Leverage”) will first appear as Siobhan McDougal (AKA Silver Banshee) in Episode 16, “Escape.
Rae joins the line of DC heroes and villains being added to “Smallville” this season, including Icicle (Wesley MacInnes), Dr. Fate (Brent Stait), Hawkman (Michael Shanks), Star Girl (Britt Irvin) and Amanda Waller (Pam Grier).
It was previously revealed that Annette O’Toole will be returning as Martha Kent and Michael McKean as Perry White as well.
