I love reading GL comics, mostly bc even though they are in space they're still simpler to follow than most of the mainstream comics with all the alternative worlds/timelines/etc/w/e. I believe it could def. make Star Wars seem small. If they just don't f*ck it up. At least this GL is about Hal. Kevin Spacey would be perfect for Sinestro, can't imagine anyone else doing it really. I would have rather seen Nathan Fillion play Hal (saw a trailer someone made for youtube with him as Hal and it was awesome) but I think Ryan can pull it off especially since watching The 9. Ryan will def. make a great Deadpool and if he does GL right he will be the greatest thing for comics since Superman. I agree with an earlier poster in that they def. need to have DC GL editors watching over the script very closely. Something doesn't quite feel right. Like this movie is going to be like the first Hulk movie with Eric Banna. It had potential, but just went weird. Then Marvel waited it out for a while and tried again. I hope DC gets it right the first time around. This movie has soo much potential. In my opinion, it has the potential to be the new 'ONE' of the super hero films. In the leaked script from last year Sinestro was still a Green Lantern, so his villain turn would be left for a sequel. Hector Hammond and Legion were the villains leaked. But they've been doing a lot of revisions to the script, so at this point we don't know if that's still the case.
