No Ledger and no tragedy the movie was not special at all. Iron Man is a real escape film and has the feeling and look of a superhero movie. A believable one. IMO, RDJ as Stark was one of the best casting decisions Marvel Films have made. I couldn't see anyone else in the armor. Rourke's character intrigues me. I honestly can't see a guy with just an Arc Reactor and whips being able to go toe to toe with the Mark III. Maybe he and Rhodes team up? Meh.
