Yeah, that's why he had a laser dot on Sylar's head when Elle pulled him away. And in the previous episode he had Sylar squarely in his crosshairs. He only went into the house after he did lose his shot. "Nathan doesnt make sense" it was obvious he was going to work for pinehurst anyway... if not by the FUTURE THAT SHOWED IT, how about Tracy saying she was going to talk him in to it? Complaints about Tracy.. we obviously dont know the reason for her yet, OR the mention of the "3rd sister". Complaints about not knowing whats happening to Mohinder.. THATS THE POINT! He doesnt know whats happening either! Why is it happening? Who knows.. we'll know when we find out wtf is happening. Complaints about "why did they even make Sylar good?" We dont know yet! We dont even know if he's fully evil yet. What we do know is he will kill for reasons OTHER then just power now - something he never did before. Morale of that story? Dont lie to Sylar when he asks you something he wants to know - he dont play well with others then he wants to know something. Why can he absorb powers thru empathy now? Who knows.. who says we even know everything about his power and how it works? Noone knows where their going with any of this. The title of the whole volume is "Villains," and so far we don't even understand who's a villain or a 'hero' since we don't actually know what they're fighting over. I understand it's all supposed to be about 'giving people powers' with this 'formula,' but why waste so much time on all this other nonsense? Sylar's feeling 'confused?' They just made the coolest, and only noticeable 'villain' on the show into a cry baby pussy. Why did they waste all of that time in season two explaining why Elle is such a bitch, and just scrap it and make her into another 'confused' character? WHY HAVEN'T THEY KILLED OFF MOHINDER? He is the worst, most pathetic person on the show: he consistently makes bad decisions, most of the time doing the exact OPPOSITE of what a rational person would do in his spot. Does anybody else notice that the spanish girl just doesn't seem to care that her brother died, oh, a few weeks ago? How about how Peter and Sylar are supposed to have all of these powers stored in them, but only use the telekinesis? Or how Peter never seems able to be honest and say that the actual 'bad guy' is, in fact, a 'villain,' and not just 'misunderstood,' or whatever he does to rationalize letting them get away? Or Claire's 'boy friend,' (he was terrible, but what happened to him), or the fact that she's supposed to be in school, or how her biological mom is there sometimes, and then not, with no explanation? Finally, why does it seem like the characters are genuinely unintelligent or do randomly stupid things, like make themselves fall in love (Matt), or do the one thing they're not supposed to do (Hiro opening the safe), or leaving the house when they know someone is looking for them (Claire)? God, my head hurts just trying to find the reasons behind this show, and I loved the first season. Another stupid thing i noitced about the eclipse... can u say Superman? He gets his powers from the yellow rays of the sun. The eclipse happens and then everyones powers magically go bye bye until the sun shows its face again and then everyone is all honkey dory. But the way things are going, they are just "trying" to tie loose ends. They are doing it in a very sloppy way that just leaves fans disappointed. I hate how they constantly try to elaborate on the past, because they ALWAYS eff it up. The following is a list of stuff the effed up: Nikki/Tracy: okay, so they are twins/triplets? Seems like a very sloppy move by the writers. Just seemed like they wanted to keep the actress but get rid of Micah and the ninja-learning-cousin of his. The formula: I was okay with believing the formula was created to make superpowers.. but did they have to give it to Nathan? Since he's a Petrelli, I assumed that Angela and Arthur's offsprings would all have powers.. but no. Maybe the gene is heterozygous, either way.. big mistake. Now it doesn't seem so cool that people are connected. Now it's not limited to certain families (like Nathan & Meredith, Arthur & Angela, DL & Nikki, Bob, etc.) Mohinder: oh Mohinder.. fell in love with a deadly annoying spanish girl. He also has new found powers, He's the indian Spider-man! no wait, the indian Man-spider! What the hell is he? I'll tell you what he is: a murderer. He's a psychopath. He was the most honorable character on the show, dedicated to helping those in need. Now he's lost it all because of his greed, that is unforgivable. Good or Bad: Everybody has a dark side.. hmm. I liked the approach.. but they have gone too far. They have changed their characters so much that they aren't recognizable anymore. Peter went from a noble male nurse to a rash heavy breathing dumbass. Claire went from a troubled high school cheerleader to a villain-hunter just because she needs to feel validated. Sylar or Gabriel?: I was turned off by the Gabriel Petrelli notion.. and even more turned off that he was so willing to become a goodie. And once he became a goodie, in a matter of 10 seconds he became a baddie. Stupid, pointless, sloppy writing. I was rooting for Elle/Sylar, but why the HELL would he kill the one person who actually cared about him? (Their whole relationship was effed up, how do you fall for the guy who murdered your father like a month after he did it?) Elle: I thought her powers made her a psycho bitch? but no no no, that flashback showed a very calm and collected Elle. Didn't seem like a spoiled brat, she seemed normal. Did she forget who she was supposed to be playing? All that aside, I liked her character. But as always, just when you begin to like someone, the genius writers eff all of it up. In her case, Sylar just popped her head off. Good one! Hiro: They created an awesome character. Yataa! So i heard they wanna kill him. Of course, he is the biggest plot hole ever, so they decide to just.. off him. GREAT JOB! they should have let Masi guest star in Scrubs if they were gonna kill him off anyway. I give no respect to NBC for what they did and tried to do to kill Scrubs. Not cool. Back to Hiro, this guy is awesome, and dumb.. but its funny. I kinda lost respect for the dude when he was like "I'm bored, i was the world was in trouble so i could save it again.. and again.. and again." good job, you've potentially effed it up, go in there and save it. but wait, you're a 10 year old now who has mastered the ability to time travel. If only the older version of Hiro could control his powers, maybe he wouldn't of been stuck in feudal japan. I can't buy that just by blinking he knows exactly where and when to go. BS. Matt: Is it just me or does Matt really freak anyone else out? He forced himself to fall for a woman just because he saw her in the future. Weird.. All in all, it had a lot of potential but the effed it up beyond repair. I don't think Fuller can revive this show. That sort of juvenile labeling is just one example of how gratingly bad the dialog is on "Heroes." My main beef with the show, however, is its meandering style of storytelling. It's as if they're just making the whole thing up as they go along while ignoring previously established plot contrivances.
