Just got back from the movie - it was great! As a comic fan, it lined up pretty well and the CGI was incredible. As for Abomination - looks like a second meet could happen and also loved the interludes to more interaction between the Marvel franchises.

As for Supes, that movie was lame. It took on too much of the Batman Returns slapstick approach. It's one thing to have times of comedy in a movie, but Superman writers need to take notes from Batman Begins and this new Hulk installment. We need grittier superheroes and more nefarious villains. I sugges the Supes writers, for the next installment, watch the X-Men movies and every Smallville episode out there.

As for Hulk, my all-time favorite comicbook character, I'm excited for the sequels! - CF

Ang Lee's gamma study on creatures and what not was more plausible and in depth for me and I preferred it over the tv show. - Kal Tourette

Looks good, and I'm excited. I want these films to do well so they studios will make more. Hopefully this one will make us forget the bad taste in our mouths from the 2003 version.

Oh and Superman Returns was a bomb given it's expectations and budget. If it grossed 390 Million worldwide (domestic + international), do you really think the studio gets every penny of that? C'mon people, what about the theatres. Chop that total by 45-55% and you get around a 195 million. Yep, it pains me to say it but Supes Bombed at the box office. - Super_real

We are so fast to point out the bad before the good, the weak before the strong, fast to put down, slow to put up, in this world we as humans are never pleased, we have to find fault in everything we can't control or own or do our shelves we see the world through our eyes and not the eyes of the person we deal with, which means if we can't take the best out of what we can get or just except what we have been giving we will never be pleased. With that in mind To all the ones complaining about the CGI I am into this and let me tell you Green is one of the hardest colors to make look real. So I compliment these guys for doing such a good job this Hulk CGI is far more advanced than Ang Lee's just look at the ripped muscles and when he moves the way the muscles move it is off the charts the way they ripple. Also remember it's just a movie entertainment take it easy on the CGI and see the movie for what it's worth. Put yourself in the places of the animators and CGI designers if they could do better they would. let's stop looking for mistakes and praise the good and be thankful there not rubber suits with men in them you could never get this type of fluid movement. I hope everyone have a blast at the movie. - JW3rd

DrewBee - you're right that Superman Returns made more than it cost to make, but didn't I read somewhere that WB was sort of putting the cost much higher than $200MM? Meaning, it was 200MM to make the movie, but another 150MM paid out over the years to pay attached writers and directors and actors and promotion and rights and lawyers, etc etc etc because it took so long to make "the next" Superman movie.

Remember when it was going to be Superman vs Batman? that was real for a little while.

So, while it's unfair that Singer was asked to make enough money to recoup all those years of costs, that's the way that WB is looking at it, from a P&L point of view. They really thought that it would make more more than it did. I think it's fair to say that WB was disappointed with $400Million. - Nicholus

I have been a hulk fan for 26 years and the Hulk never started to bleed until a writer name Peter David and an Artist name Dale Keweon took over the book. The Hulk is suppose to be in the 100,00 ton class. This hulk looks good and i am excited for the movie but I hope shows more strenght I hope he gets angered and his strenght increase so far the power levels the abomination and the hulk shows looks no more powerful than spiderman. The two gamma ray creatures are more than cabable of throwing cars into space and leaping to different states. Over all I can't wait to see this movie I like the Ang Lee's version the Hulk is a sad story I just do not believe it was for kids but the story line was more true to the comics minus the growing larger. - JW3rd

INterestingly enough, though-if you read enough of the hulk comics, you find that Bruce Banner was, indeed, abused by his father who thought, because of his intelligence that he was a mutant freak, and hated him. So, Ang Lee's abused Banner thing had a comic book basis - ukulelemike
